Public Safety Solutions

GATCO has a strong focus on Public Safety with emphasis on delivering reliable solutions on municipal, regional and national security levels.

For the municipal Public Safety markets, GATCO, in alliance with our joint strategic partner Positron Public Safety Systems Corp., is developing a GPS based First Responder end-to-end solution to integrate, with Positron’s state of the art municipal Emergency 911 Public Safety call handling and dispatching applications. Working over municipal private radio infrastructures or encrypted public wireless data channels, the system will provide extremely reliable First Responder vehicle location data to 9-1-1 dispatch operators, thereby reducing response time and enhancing the possibility of saving lives and property.

Positron Technologies, Inc. will be assembling, at their new manufacturing facility, in Kirkland, Quebec, Canada, GATCO’s new GPS Automatic Vehicle Location System, the Voyager 3.0 Series, which is an integral part of the overall joint end-to-end solution.
